Terra Cotta Detail The facade of this small building was the last commission of famed architect Louis Sullivan, and it reflects the careful attention to detail that characterized Sullivan's work. Elaborate terra-cotta ornament, projecting above the roofline and framing the large display window, drew attention to the store and its original function.
