Updates from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. weekdays

• Due to crews working in the area on Friday, March 14 from 7:00 p.m. until 10:30 p.m., expect helicopter activity and intermittent street closures on at 35th and State, traveling north to 31st Street through to 29th Street. Intermittent closures should be expected on State from 29th Street to 31st Street and the cross streets of 29th, 30th, 31st.
  

• The Harrison Street Bridge over the South Branch of the Chicago River westbound traffic lanes and south sidewalk are closed through March 31st. Detour westbound Harrison via Franklin, Van Buren, Clinton, Harrison. Traffic exiting at Harrison from Lower Wacker Drive should use Harrison to Dearborn to Van Buren, Clinton, and Harrison. Jackson Street over the ICG Railroad between Michigan and Columbus is closed through June 15th, 2008 for bridge replacement. Detour eastbound Jackson via Michigan, Monroe, Columbus. Detour westbound via Columbus, Monroe, Michigan.
  

• At Block 37 (108 North State), due to construction, lanes are reduced on Washington, Randolph and Dearborn. One lane is closed on Washington from Dearborn to State on Saturday, March 15 at 10:00 p.m. until Monday, March 17 at 6:00 a.m. No closures until AFTER the St. Patrick's Day Parade. On Sunday, March 16 at midnight to Sunday, March 16 at noon, expect a full closure of Dearborn from Washington to Randolph and a full closure of Randolph from State to Dearborn. Detour Dearborn closure via eastbound Washington to northbound State to westbound Wacker and back to northbound Dearborn. Detour Randolph closure via northbound State to westbound Wacker to southbound LaSalle or southbound Wacker to westbound Randolph or southbound State to westbound Madison to northbound LaSalle to westbound Randolph. Theatre buses will drop off at northbound State at Randolph, westbound Randolph at State and Lake from Dearborn to State (south curb lane).Also, a portion of the southbound curb lane on State Street, just south of Washington is also closed through June. Two southbound traffic lanes are maintained on State.
