Overnight Lane Closures Return on Lake Shore Drive at 31st Street
In the early morning hours this week, South Lake Shore Drive motorists should expect possible slowdowns in both directions as they approach 31st Street near McCormick Place:
- From 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. tonight through Thursday, South Lake Shore Drive will be closed at 31st Street for bridge demolition.
- Traffic will be diverted off the Drive using the 31st Street exit ramps and then will reenter the Drive via the entrance ramps.
