What We Do

Public Vehicles

Taxicabs, Public Chauffeurs, Charter Busses and nine other categories of public passenger vehicles are regulated by the Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection (BACP).

BACP oversees licensing, purchasing taxicab medallions, vehicle inspections and rates of fare.  The Public Vehicle Operations Office is located on the first floor at 2350 W.
