Navy Pier Vendor License

A Navy Pier Vendor license is required for businesses located at Navy Pier engaged in sales of merchandise or food on indoor and/or outdoor pushcarts/kiosks, which are stationary and in the designated space as per the vendor's lease agreement with Navy Pier.

Application and License Fees

  • Navy Pier Vendor (Non-Food):  $125 per pushcart/kiosk  |  Term: May 1st - April 30th.
  • Navy Pier Vendor (Food):  $125 per pushcart/kiosk  |  Term: May 1st - April 30th.
  • Navy Pier Vendor (Non-Food) 30-Day:  $50 per pushcart/kiosk  |  Term: 30 consecutive days or less.
  • Navy Pier Vendor (Food) 30-Day:  $50 per pushcart/kiosk  |  Term: 30 consecutive days or less.

License Requirements

  • Business entity registration documents;
  • If applicable: Federal Employer Identification Number (EIN); State of Illinois File Number; Illinois Department of Revenue (IDOR) Account ID;
  • A signed copy of the Navy Pier License Agreement;
  • Food vendors must provide proof of a valid City of Chicago Department of Public Health (CDPH) Food Service Manager Certificate.  Certification courses are available at:
  • Any City debt must be resolved prior to the issuance of any business license.

Inspections
Food vendors must pass a City of Chicago Department of Public Health (CDPH) inspection onsite at Navy Pier.
