RSSNew American Small Business Series
The City of Chicago's Office of New Americans (ONA) and the Department of Business Affairs & Consumer Protection (BACP) invite small business owners and entrepreneurs to four quarterly expos as a part of the New American Small Business Series. The expos, sponsored by Western Union, are free and open to the public and will offer business education, resources on financing, licensing process, tax laws and provide an opportunity to network with important stakeholders in the community.

Truman College Set to Host Expo in Uptown
Chicago entrepreneurs and small business owners are invited to a free expo, which offers resources on:
- How to finance a small business
- How to start the licensing process
- How to understand and comply with tax laws and other legal requirements
- Business planning and counseling
- Where to connect with chambers of commerce and other resources
- Business education
- Networking opportunities
- And much, much more!
The African Small Business Expo is presented by the City of Chicago, Western Union, Truman College and the Continental African Chamber of Commerce. The expo is free an open to all residents of Chicago. Free parking is available at Truman College.

Asian American Business Expo
The Asian American Business Expo drew more than 300 attendees and offered a day full of workshops and guest speakers. Thank you to everyone who exhibited with the City of Chicago and to all the attendees.
Latino Small Business Expo
Thank you to everyone who attended the Latino Small Business Expo on May 11 at the West Side Technical Institute. More than 30 exhibitors provided information to more than 300 attendees at the event.
Polish Small Business Expo
The first expo of 2013 was the Polish Small Business Expo on March 9 at the Copernicus Center in Chicago. The event was a tremendous success with more than 150 people in attendance.
