To be considered for admission, the following credentials must have been received by the Department of Buildings (DOB) by August 31 (mail to City Hall, Room 906, 121 N. LaSalle St., Chicago, IL 60602, Attn: Kristy Davis):
- Completed application form
- $150.00 application fee (non-refundable if applicant fails to notify DOB of cancellation within 48 hours of training class date)
- Copy of Illinois Structural Engineering License (must have held Illinois SE for minimum 3 years and must have held first engineering license obtained for minimum 6 years)
- Copy of applicant’s resume
