Walk/Bike to School Day--host school sought for Safe Routes Ambassadors

Each year, Mayor Daley's Safe Routes Ambassadors select one school to host a flagship event on Walk and Bike to School Day, which is October 6, 2010.

If you would like to nominate your school to host the Ambassadors, please take a minute to fill out the following form:

Host the Ambassadors

The Flagship School will be selected based on interest and commitment to walking and biking safety and geographic diversity. Schools will be notified of their status on August 13.

If your school is not selected to host the flagship event, you are still encouraged to host an event on October 6 to celebrate. For all schools who indicate interest in being the Safe Routes Ambassadors' Flagship School, stickers will be provided for the day of the event. All schools are encouraged to coordinate with the Safe Routes Ambassadors for presentations during the school year.
