RSSPay Liquid Waste Fee
Generators of liquid waste are required to pay a fee of $0.025 per gallon when more than 360 gallons of such waste is generated in a given reporting period (January 1 – December 31).
Liquid waste has been generated when it is containerized and transported off-site and this transportation requires a manifest.
Please note the ordinance has been in effect since October 1999. If you are a generator and have generated over 360 gallons of liquid special waste in any given year since October 1999, you would be required to submit a fee.
To pay a liquid waste fee:
- Fill out a Liquid Waste Fee – Special Waste Computation Form on or before January 30th of the following year.
- Attach a check or money order made payable to the City of Chicago.
- Mail or hand deliver the form and check to:
