Step, Salsa And Tango Into The New Year With Chicago WinterDance 2014 At The Chicago Cultural Center, January 3-5

The Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events (DCASE) is pleased to announce the schedule for Chicago WinterDance, January 3–5 at the Chicago Cultural Center (78 E. Washington St.). The popular dancing series is the winter version of the popular SummerDance series, bringing people of all ages and skill levels together with FREE, introductory one-hour dance lessons by professional instructors followed by music and dancing.

The 2014 schedule includes a diverse musical lineup showcasing popular dance styles. WinterDance will take place in the Sidney R. Yates Gallery located on the fourth floor of the Chicago Cultural Center.

Friday, January 3
7:10-9pm - DJ Mellow Khris (Chicago Steppin')
6-7pm - Dawud Shareef & Lura Shareef (Chicago Steppin')

Saturday, January 4
7:10-9pm - Rica Obsesion (Salsa)
6-7pm - May I Have This Dance (Salsa)

Sunday, January 5
1:10-3pm - Tangata Ensemble (Milonga)
12-1pm. - Tango 21 (Argentine Tango)

Chicago WinterDance is presented by the Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events (DCASE). Admission is FREE.
