The event will celebrate its 35th anniversary in style with a move to the world-renowned Millennium Park. Known for its artistic/creativity, the Chicago Jazz Festival is a favorite Labor Day Weekend tradition. It promotes awareness and appreciation for all form of jazz through free, quality, live musical performances. The festival’s mission is to showcase Chicago’s vast jazz talent alongside national and international artists to encourage and educate a jazz audience of all ages.
In an effort to become a waste-free event, the Chicago Jazz Festival has dedicated initiatives to reduce the volume of waste headed to landfills.
