Dating back to the 1840’s, this legendary market continues to thrive with over 380 vendors selling an eclectic mix of food and merchandise. Known as the birth place of Chicago Blues music and the “Maxwell Street Polish,” this FREE outdoor market attracts a year round following of bargain hunting shoppers and foodies looking to satisfy their palette with authentic ethnic cuisine.
Live entertainment and special programming scheduled throughout the year add to the market’s appeal.
