OVERVIEW
An 11 day, city-wide, multi-venue event featuring acclaimed musicians from countries around the world. Showcasing traditional and contemporary music from diverse cultures, the performances and events are all FREE. The event is now the largest world music festival in the Midwest, attracting over 600,000 concertgoers and presenting over 600 artists and ensembles from over 80 countries since its inception in 1999.

ABOUT THE VENUE
More than 40 free events take place throughout Chicago including museums, parks, cultural centers, plazas, theaters, bookstores and clubs. In addition, four concerts are performed at the world-class Pritzker Pavilion in Millennium Park.
