Visitor Information Center

Chicago's Visitor Information Centers are conveniently located in two of the city's most popular areas. The Chicago Cultural Center Visitor Information Center is located in the Loop. The Chicago Water Works Visitor Information Center is located in the Historic Water Works Pumping Station, just off of the Magnificent Mile.

The Visitor Information Center is open on holidays from 10 am - 4 pm, except Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and New Year's Day.

Additional Amenities: The Water Works Visitor Center is also home to a Hot Tix outpost that offers half price tickets to more than 200 local theater shows, and a Chicago Public Library satellite location, with a small Chicago reference collection and circulation services for library card holders.

 

 

Building Tours Building Tours

Gaze at the world's largest Tiffany stained-glass dome, as well as beautifully ornate multi-colored mosaics, marble and molding during guided architectural tours of the Chicago Cultural Center. Tours are presented Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 1:15pm and are 45-60 minutes long. Tours meet in the Randolph Street lobby. The group will be limited to the first twenty people. Wedding Ceremony at the Chicago Cultural Center

Civil Weddings Performed by the Marriage Court of Cook County

Judges from the Marriage Court of Cook County perform weddings for a modest fee at the Cultural Center on select Saturday mornings in GAR Hall. Couples interested in holding their services at the Cultural Center must first register in person at:
