Fall into autumn with Lincoln Park Zoo’s Harvest Days, a free family festival that celebrates the time of year when the air is as crisp as the pumpkins are plentiful.
No registration or tickets are required, and the event is free for everyone.

Get your scare on at the Adler this Halloween! Friday, October 18 through Sunday, November 3, we will transform into a "spooky" space - complete with Trick or Treating. Take a special "Spooky Space" Atwood Sphere tour, get slimy in our "Slime Science" family workshop, and listen to some eerie tales in the "Stories Under the Moon". And we need the help of our youngest explorers to help track down a mysterious alien who has crash-landed in Planet Explorers!

The Nature Museum's Halloween tradition continues! Put on your costume and join us for some tricks and treats! Enjoy a ssscrumptious meal while our reptile specialists introduce you to their slithery friends. Get up close and personal with more than eight species of snakes and learn fun facts about them.

Back by popular demand! This Halloween learn the iconic Michael Jackson routine at our annual two hour workshop from 12-2 pm October 27th. Includes FREE entrance to our Halloween TGIF dance practice party November 1st where you can perform the routine if you wish. All ages and ability levels are welcome. Costumes are welcome but not required for the Thriller workshop, and are highly encouraged for the TGIF dance practice party November 1st.

The Garfield Park Conservatory hosts an extra special Halloween themed evening by showcasing live nocturnal animals in the Conservatory’s living collection. Night dwelling animals, such as a fruit bat, owls, and spiders will visit the Conservatory on this special Halloween night. Come learn about these creatures’ special night-time tricks, and get a treat for your efforts! Music, activities, trick or treat stations and more are all part of this special evening. Halloween get-ups are encouraged!
