The 10 Year Anniversary of Fashion Focus CHICago will take place Sunday, October 4 through Monday, October 12 in locations throughout the City of Chicago with a focus on events in the form of runway, selling, and professional development during Fashion Week.
Preference will be given to events taking place in 4 featured neighborhoods: Bronzeville, Downtown/Loop, Uptown and Wicker Park/Bucktown. Submit now until Sunday, August 9, 5pm: www.surveymonkey.com
Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events' Fashion Focus CHICago program is conducting a brief survey to better understand the current industry and the "who" and "where" of fashion professionals currently working in Chicago. This information will also assist in planning for CHICago Fashion Week this fall. Thank you for your participation!
Fashion Focus Chicago is pleased to welcome The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) to Chicago and invite Chicago’s fashion design professionals to participate in a Look Book Critique Program during Fashion Focus CHICago on October 7, 2015. Up to twenty (20) designers will be selected to present look books, samples, and business model to be reviewed by a panel of experts from CFDA (with special guests!) There is no fee to participate in this program. Finalists may be featured during future Fashion Focus Chicago programs!
To be eligible you must:
- Design Menswear, Womenswear, or Accessories
- Conduct primary business operations within the United States
- Be in business for a minimum of two years
- Produce seasonal collections
Submit your Fall 2015 look book as a Word or PDF document [with your business name as the file name] to email@example.com until MIDNIGHT, August 25, 2015. Semi-finalists will be chosen and contacted with further instruction by August 28.
