Submissions Accepted on Sonicbids: Nov. 8 - Dec. 31, 2013

The Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events (DCASE) will start accepting EPK submissions on www.sonicbids.com from bands in the Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana area ONLY, for consideration to perform on the Taste of Chicago Bud Light Stage, a stage that showcases the best of both up and coming and well-known favorite bands from the Chicagoland area. Submissions will be accepted November 8-December 31, 2013. There will be a $6 fee for submitting music electronically via sonicbids.

DCASE will not accept cds in the mail or music links emailed directly to us.

The number of performance slots to be filled will be determined at a later date. Selected artists will be compensated.

All musical styles will be considered. No profanity, descriptions of violence or vulgarity will be accepted. All music must be family-friendly.

Past performers include: Chicago Afrobeat Project, El Payo Nuevo Flamenco, The Waco Brothers, 8 Bold Souls, Shekinah Glory Ministry, The Heavy, Company of Thieves and Kelly Hogan.

Please note: If you are not from the Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana area, you are not eligible and should NOT submit, as you will not be considered. All submissions must be made online at www.sonicbids.com; do not mail materials to the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events, as they will not be considered.
