The Columbus Day Parade is sponsored by the Jont Civic Committee of Italian Americans. This year, Monday, October 10th will mark its 64th anniversary.

The Columbus Day Parade has over 150 units - bands, floats and marchers. All ethnicities are invited to join our parade.

The festivities begin with a 9am mass at the Shrine of Our Lady of Pompeii, 1224 W. Lexington Street. A wreath laying ceremony in Arrigo Park at the Columbus statue, together with the Grand Lodge, State of Illinois, Order Sons of Italy in America, followed by the parade at 12:30pm on State Street.
