OBTAINING MEDIA CREDENTIALS FOR TASTE OF CHICAGO

Media Credential Requests For Taste Of Chicago Petrillo Concerts, July 10-14 At The Petrillo Music Shell

All media credential requests must be submitted no later than Wednesday, July 3 on media letterhead by fax at 312.744.8523 or mail to:

Press credentials and photo passes are limited.

All applications to review or photograph for media must be received no later than July 3.

You must be on assignment from a media outlet to cover the concerts. Applicants will be notified beginning May 28 and no later than Friday, July 5.

We will not accept any applications from freelance photographers or writers who are not on confirmed assignment.

Applicants should be prepared to supply copies of recent and relevant coverage (links are sufficient). Clippings can be from previous year’s coverage or coverage of similar types of concerts.

College newspapers and photographers will have limited access. Cases will be reviewed and each request must be accompanied by a letter from a faculty advisor on college or University letterhead.

Because of the limited nature of the credentials, blogs will be considered on a case by case basis.

Because you are working, if credentialed, there are no opportunities to bring a guest.

Some Artists’ management will have final decision on credentialing.

Please note that the festival is free admission and a credential is unnecessary for reviewing/photographing the general festival (people purchasing food, cooking demonstrations, Family Village).

Photographers: We appreciate the offer but do not contact us to offer your services. We have photographers in place with the City of Chicago.
