O'Hare 5K/10K On The Runway - September 29th, 2013

If waiting at the airport for your plane to take off seems like more of a chore than a pleasure, you should check out this unique 5/10K run/walk and kids' "Take-off Trot" at O'Hare presented by the Chicago Department of Aviation and United Airlines. With proceeds benefiting the Wounded Warrior Project serving military vets, it's a one-of-a kind opportunity to experience a day on a runway at one of the world's busiest airports. It's a fun event for the entire family that also includes a post-run/walk Community Day with entertainment, food and photo opportunities on the runway, and in front of a United airplane.
