Under the leadership of Mayor Rahm Emanuel, the Department of Procurement Services has established innovative reforms to ensure more transparency, accountability and cost-effectiveness in the City’s contracting process. In the past year, we have established several new initiatives and reforms, including the Small Business Initiative and Diversity Credit Program.
