The City of Chicago Department of Finance is committed to providing accurate and timely information to the citizens of Chicago and business patrons of Chicago businesses. This website allows users to verify that a business that may have collected a City of Chicago administered tax from them is registered to collect that tax on behalf of the City of Chicago.
The reports accessible via the links below provide alphabetical listings of businesses registered with the City of Chicago Department of Finance to collect and remit the applicable taxes designated. The report includes the City of Chicago tax code that the business is registered to collect and remit.
