Throughout her career, Penny has been a champion for our students and our city, demonstrating incredible commitment and leadership in her every business, civic and philanthropic endeavor. I thank her for her tireless service to our schools, our communities, our workers, and our business community, and I congratulate her on her nomination to become the next U.S. Secretary of Commerce.
