“Today the City of Chicago mourns the passing of an architectural giant in Sidney Epstein. From the runways at O’Hare to the iconic Harold Washington Library, Sid’s mark on Chicago’s urban landscape is indelible and his impact will be everlasting. In addition to designing some of our greatest buildings, Sid Epstein also made it his mission to help more of our youth to reach their full potential as co-founder of the Chicago Youth Centers.
