Crowd watching planes performing maneuvers at the Chicago Air & Water Show at North Avenue Beach

The Mayor's Office of Special Events (MOSE) provides Chicagoans and visitors with year-round family style entertainment, by producing and promoting free festivals and city-wide holiday celebrations. Major downtown festivals such as Taste of Chicago, the Air and Water Show and six music festivals draw millions of people each year to the lakefront, contributing significantly to tourism and economic development for Chicago.
