The following questions refer to Page 8, Section IV.2 of the RFP references "identifying and organizing an Animal Resources database assuring the entry of any typed resources into the Regional Logistics and Resource Database system."

1. Is it the intent of this RFP that the successful bidder will be required to develop an Animal Resources database to be integrated into the City's Regional Logistics and Resource Database?

Response: The information will be integrated into the RCPT Logistics and Resource Database, once developed.  This in turn should be compatible with existing platforms used within the CSA, such as WebEOC.

2. Has the City already completed resource typing for this area referencing the "assuring the entry of any typed resources" comment?

Response: Not to our knowledge.

3. What emergency management system software does the City utilize (i.e., WebEOC, D-LAN, etc.)?

Response: The focus of this work is not centered on the City of Chicago.  The work of RCPT encompasses 16 counties, 10 in NE Illinois, 5 in NW Indiana and Kenosha County, Wisconsin.  As a result while a number of counties/municipalities/agencies use WebEOC it should not be assumed that it's use is across the board.

4. Is the Regional Logistics and Resource Database fully functional and integrated into the City's emergency management system?

Response: The Logistics and Resource Management Database is still being developed.

The vendor awarded this contract will have the opportunity to work in concert with the vendor developing that database.
