The Chicago Department of Family and Support Services provides a number of services to assist parents and their children.  The department supports the city’s network of child care, Early Head Start and Head Start providers who provide a range of parenting resources, as well as care and developmental offerings for young children. The department also supports a variety of out-of-school time and career exploration opportunities for young people.
