The Chicago Department of Transportation (CDOT) announced that the one southbound traffic/curb lane of upper Michigan Avenue will be closed from July 11 through 22 so that CDOT can complete urgently needed repairs of the expansion joint and cover plate at the northwest corner of the Michigan Avenue Bridge.

The lane closure will run from just south of Wrigley Tower to the mid-span of the Michigan Avenue Bridge. The lane closures will remain in effect 24 hours a day until the work is completed to ensure the safety of motorists and pedestrians.
