Flagged Business List

Flagged Business List

The Flagged Business List is an initiative to target “problem” businesses in Chicago’s neighborhoods. This list began in April of 2012 to highlight businesses that received at least 2 adjudicated violations within 12 months. Community complaints, debt to the City, and previous investigation history all factor into whether a business is added to the list. Flagged Business locations are subject to increased inspections by all City regulatory agencies and further violations will result in disciplinary action and possible revocation of their business license.
