The Chicago Department of Public Health (CDPH), Substance Use Program’s Community Education on Opioid Overdose Prevention program, Request for Proposal (RFP). This RFP calls for a public awareness campaign that will work with adults living in communities with the highest overdose rates in Chicago by recruiting and training Peer Health Educators to teach community members how to identify and effectively respond to an opioid overdose using naloxone and raise awareness about opioid addiction treatment resources in their communities.
This $225,000 award is a one-time funding opportunity for a one year contract period. While not mandatory nor binding, potential applicants are strongly encouraged to submit a letter of intent by Friday, December 15, 2017 to Patricia.Johnson@cityofchicago.org.
