For the Handling and Storage of Bulk Material Piles
Pursuant to Sections 2-112-160(b), 11-4-760(e), 11-4-770, and 11-4-800 of the Municipal Code of Chicago, notice is hereby given this 14th day of May 2018 that the Chicago Department of Public Health (CDPH) solicits written comments with respect to its proposed regulations for the handling and storage of bulk material piles.
To be considered, written comments must be received by CDPH on or before June 13th, 2018, which represents an extension of the originally noticed comment period. The mailing address to send written comments with respect to the proposed regulations is the following:

In addition, a public hearing has been scheduled to provide the public an opportunity to provide verbal comments on the regulations. The public hearing will take place on Wednesday, June 6th, 2018, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at The Zone - 11731 S. Avenue O, Chicago, Illinois.
Copies of the proposed regulations may be obtained in person at CDPH’s offices, 333 South State Street, Room 200, during regular business hours (8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.).
