Volunteer for DCASE
Share your love of Chicago’s culture, history and architecture by volunteering with the Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events
With DCASE you will connect guests (Chicagoans and visitors alike) with some of the city’s cultural treasures, such as Millennium Park, the Chicago Cultural Center, Clarke House Museum, and the Taste of Chicago.
Volunteers help in a variety of ways: leading tours, providing information, assisting with events, and more.

The ChicagoMade A&R Auditions give Chicagoland-based artists and bands the opportunity to play live for a panel of Artists & Repertoire (A&R) executives from major labels. The epic live showcase of up-and-coming local talent is hosted by Chicago's Matt Muse, who performed at the 2017 auditions and earned a performance spot at last summer's Taste of Chicago. In conjunction with Chicago's Year of Creative Youth, this year's auditions reduced the minimum age requirement to age 14, allowing younger artists to participate as well as adults.
Applications to perform are now closed. Absolutely no walk-in performances will be allowed.
Applications due November 15, at 5pm CST
The Individual Artist Program (IAP) grant applications are now open. The grants aim to assist Chicago's professional artists in creating work that elevates their careers and brings value to the City of Chicago. Applicants are encouraged to attend an Application Assistance Workshop. For eligibility requirements, grant calendar and to RSVP for workshops, please visit chicagoculturalgrants.org.
