The Department of Cultural Affairs & Special Events is now accepting submissions for consideration to perform at the 33rd Chicago Gospel Music Festival. We are looking to showcase the best of both up and coming and well-known favorite artists from the Chicagoland area, as well as young talented artists - including soloists, choirs, praise dancers, mimes and more.
The Chicago Gospel Music Festival has welcomed such performers as Grammy Award Winners - Queen of Gospel Music - Albertina Walker and Shirley Caesar, Fred Hammond, Bishop Hezekiah Walker, Byron Cage, Donnie McClurkin, Kirk Franklin, The Rance Allen Group, The Mighty Clouds of Joy, The Clark Sisters, Donald Lawrence, Tye Tribbett & G.A., Marvin Sapp, CeCe Winans, The Williams Brothers, Mary Mary, dozens of Chicagoland artists and so many more.
Submissions will be accepted from December 1, 2017 - January 31, 2018 for the 2018 festival. Previous year submissions are not held - you will need to re-submit materials for each year you wish to be considered. Information received before or after the submission dates will not be considered.
