Open House Chicago 2017 is taking place in conjunction with the second Chicago Architecture Biennial, which runs from September 16, 2017 to January 7, 2018. The Chicago Architecture Biennial invites the public to engage with and think about architecture in new and unexpected ways through a constellation of interactive installations and events. The main hub of the Biennial is the Chicago Cultural Center, a five-story Beaux-Arts building that was formerly the city’s main public library. Galleries and public spaces will feature exhibitions and installations focused on the theme “Make New History.”

Behind the Scenes: Explore the displays and installations of the second Chicago Architecture Biennial in the Chicago Cultural Center.
