63rd/Pulaski TIF

The 63rd/Pulaski TIF district was created to implement a variety of public and private  improvements involving the West Lawn community's commercial and industrial assets. Objectives include streetscape upgrades along Pulaski Road and other efforts that assist pedestrians and small retailers. Site assembly and other projects that improve the viability of area industrial companies are also targeted, especially along 54th Street and along a railroad right-of-way in the western portion of the district. The coordinated planning effort for the 216-acre district is intended to take advantage of its proximity to Midway airport.
