Board Assesses $92,000 Fines for Unregistered Lobbying

On February 15, 2017, after considering written responses presented by the lobbyist and his client, the Board determined that a lobbyist engaged in unregistered lobbying and then failed to register for nearly five (5) months, and assessed him and his lobbying client combined fines of $92,000. The Board also addressed and ruled on various defenses raised during the enforcement procedure. Please see the attached Notice of Final Determination.
