Mayor Rahm Emanuel will host President Lee Myung-bak of the Republic of Korea in Chicago on October 14th. This will be President Lee’s first visit to Chicago.
“I look forward to welcoming President Lee in Chicago,” said Mayor Emanuel. “President Lee’s visit will highlight the strong commitment to education and innovation, close partnership and deep economic ties between Chicago and the Republic of Korea. It will also be an opportunity to celebrate the rich bonds of friendship between Chicagoans and the Korean people.”
Mayor Emanuel will host President Lee at a dinner on the evening of October 14th at the Chicago Cultural Center.
