The Chicago Department of Transportation (CDOT) announced that emergency underground repair work by the Department of Water Management will require the temporary reduction of LaSalle Street between Madison and Randolph to one lane of traffic in each direction at all times for the next three weeks, starting this Friday night, June 12, weather permitting.

At least one lane will be open in both directions at all times.

The closure is required to perform emergency repairs on an underground 36-inch water valve at the Southeast corner of LaSalle and Washington.

Drivers are urged to use alternate routes to avoid delays.
