The entirely residential 41st/King TIF district is designed to promote affordable housing development in the Grand Boulevard community through site assembly assistance and infrastructure improvements involving streets, alleys, sidewalks and other public amenities. The seven-acre district aims to compliment existing structures with new single- and multi-family housing developments that cater to the area's income levels. Through a coordinated redevelopment process, the district aims to reinforce the health, safety and general welfare of area residents while accommodating new growth within its boundaries.
