The mission of City of Chicago Television is to provide greater public awareness and understanding of the government of the City of Chicago.  We also aim to increase awareness of the work City government is doing to improve Chicago and to inform residents about resources available to them, and of special events sponsored by the City and civic organizations.  We accomplish this through a variety of cable programs that highlight the departments and bureaus of Chicago city government and its sister agencies such as the Chicago Public School system, the Chicago Transit Authority and the Chicago Park District.
