Honoring Illinois' Fallen
United States and Illinois flags at half-staff until Sunset, Wednesday, April 3, 2013.

The Department of Central Management Services has received notice from; Governor Quinn’s Office that all persons or entities covered by the Illinois Flag Display Act are to fly the flags at half-staff in honor and remembrance of:

Corporal Aaron Ripperda, United States Marine Corps.

Hometown:  Highland, Illinois

Please keep the flags lowered until: Sunset, Wednesday, April 3, 2013

Cpl. Ripperda's visitation is from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday at Meridith Funeral Home in Highland.
His funeral is Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church, also in Highland.
Cpl. Ripperda will be laid to rest Wednesday at the St. Mary's Catholic Church cemetery in Carlyle, Ill.
