The Chicago Department of Aviation (CDA) has launched a new job portal to provide job seekers with a convenient way to apply for employment opportunities with concessionaires at O’Hare and Midway International Airports. A list of available job opportunities with links for applications is posted at www.FlyChicago.com/concessionsjobs.

"The Chicago Department of Aviation is excited to see travelers returning to our airports,” said Jamie L. Rhee, Commissioner for the Chicago Department of Aviation. “Like many airports across the country, concession businesses are trying to keep up with demand, and the online portal is just one way that CDA is working to help connect these businesses with local talent.”

The job portal is housed on the CDA’s FlyChicago.com website under Community Opportunities, which also contains information and resources on business opportunities, upcoming job fairs, and workshop webinars with the Chicago Department of Aviation.

“HMSHost is thrilled to work with CDA on the new Job Portal to attract local talent to elevate the customer experience at O’Hare International Airport and provide world-class service to passengers visiting our locations like Starbucks, Chili’s, and Tortas Frontera,” said Brad Maher, Senior Director of Operations for HMS Host. “HMSHost is a great place to work, providing a comprehensive compensation package that includes competitive pay rates, health care at no cost, meal allowances, paid holidays, vacation time, 401K, and periodic pay raises."

“We’re pleased to partner with the CDA and our concessions partners to help connect Chicagoans with career opportunities,” said Wally Kruce, Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield General Manager. “Airports are great places to begin in the hospitality business, serving customers from around the world.”

“Midway Partnership is excited to participate with the CDA in this initiative to connect Chicago communities to a variety of jobs currently available in concessions at Midway Airport,” said Sammy Patel, Chief Executive Officer for Midway Partnership. “Great service starts with great people and working in one of our retail or restaurant locations at Midway provides an opportunity to be a part of a team, serving travelers at a variety of local favorites and nationally recognized brands.

Collectively, O’Hare and Midway International Airports have over 130 retail, food, beverage, and services employment opportunities available. Job seekers can submit their resumes directly to the hiring manager or apply on an employer’s career website via the portal. To view available employment opportunities, job seekers can visit the Concessions Job Portal at FlyChicago.com/concessionsjobs.
